T-Mobile Generator & HVAC Addition New York, NY

Drawing on the staff's telecommunications experience, Polaris designed the addition of generators, a dry cooler and computer room air handling units, and alterations to the office HVAC system for an existing data center located near the top of a high rise building in New York City. Aside from the logistical and design issues associated with multi-story buildings, the entire fuel oil piping system in the penthouse generator room required redesign to meet code requirements that had become stricter since the original installation, and new Landlord co-tenancy requirements. Polaris continued regular communication with the installing contractors until the successful testing of the new installations.
